You can have lived a life without a previous trauma or insane hardship and still get haunted by the demon that is mental illness and get sucked down under. Good for you for getting away from its grip. The water sector needs operators greatly. These When santa squeezes his fat white ass down Jolliest Christmas t-shirt require folks who like chemistry, but operators don’t need a college degree. It’s hard to recruit nationally for these jobs, but they are very important for society. Take a look at the american water works association or the water environment federation.

I have three degrees. Including a masters in criminal justice. Right now I’m a pharmacy technician, certified. Without school and making better money than I EVER did. And I get to be my happy, cheerful, friendly, outgoing self. Never been happier. I’m also stuck. But it’s the best stuck EVER. I definitely wouldn’t say you’re not progressing. I imagine you’re certainly growing personally as you continue to understand yourself better. If anything this admonition, confession, story is testament to that growth. Perhaps you will feel confident enrolling in school again somewhere down the road, but if not, that’s not bad and certainly doesn’t shut you off from ‘progressing’.
Understanding yourself is key, routines help you, working out makes When santa squeezes his fat white ass down Jolliest Christmas t-shirt more productive, feel better, etc. And I hope you feel like you have more control over your life. For some people learning about yourself means learning more about mental illness, identifying with and recognizing its affects on you, and possibly seeking medical consultation, advice for additional help, therapy, prescriptions, etc.

I’m happy to hear you are in a better place on a personal level than you were 6 years ago, and I hope you will be in an ever better place 6 years from today. Thanks for sharing and all the best. College is hard, and made harder by toxic levels of competition and hostility that can be found in more and more classrooms as you advance. It’s so sad that people can’t stop tearing each other down long enough to realize that we’re all just trying to survive this place. I’m going thru something similar right now. I’ve spoken to managers all around me. And i realise its a generational thing.
The generation before us were taught college was the answer. Some were unhappy but they were expected to grin and bear. The When santa squeezes his fat white ass down Jolliest Christmas t-shirt was to feed your family. What WE need to teach our children is to nurture their souls and no matter what you will be happy, if all else is equal. I hear so many stories about people becoming doctors, lawyers etc and then realizing it isn’t for them. And only then can one be truly happy. I think as a society there will be less ppl self soothing with drugs and alcohol. Longer lasting marriages etc.
